VinylPlus has published its comments on the ECHA investigation report on PVC and PVC additives. As founding members of VinylPlus®, we support their position. The report includes:

• An executive summary
• Detailed technical comments following the main sections of the report
• An analysis of the assumptions made in the report (Annex 1)
• An analysis of data gaps identified in the report and how VinylPlus could help address them (Annex 2)

We will continue constructively engaging with decision-makers (European Commission, ECHA, National Member States) to address ECHA’s understanding of plasticisers and their disputable concerns in the report.
